Meaningful communication.
Real connection.
Measurable progress.
Because we know that…
You’re doing your best—and it still feels hard.
Traditional speech therapy doesn’t work for every communicator.
What’s needed is an evidence-based approach rooted in connection, autonomy, and meaningful communication.

Our Services
-
Comprehensive speech-language assessment provided via telepractice utilizing real-time screen sharing, caregiver collaboration, standardized and informal measures, and clinical observation.
-
Virtual speech therapy is provided through a secure, easy-to-use platform with live video and screen sharing. Sessions are interactive and built around your child’s interests, communication style, and learning needs.
We use visuals, shared activities, and AAC tools when helpful, so your child has multiple ways to participate and express themselves.
Caregivers are welcomed as partners in sessions, with coaching and simple strategies woven in to support communication at home and in everyday life.
-
A virtual AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) evaluation and consultation helps identify communication tools that support your child’s ability to express themselves—delivered through a secure, interactive online platform.
Using live video and screen sharing, the clinician observes how your child currently communicates, explores what motivates them, and trials AAC systems such as apps or device layouts in real time. Activities are play-based and interest-led, allowing your child to interact with shared visuals and communication tools in a natural, low-pressure way.
Caregivers are active partners throughout the process. Coaching and modeling are built into sessions so families learn how to support AAC use during daily routines, play, and real-life interactions. The focus is on finding AAC supports that fit your child—not changing who they are or how they communicate.
Families receive clear, individualized recommendations, guidance for next steps, and support to help AAC feel practical, meaningful, and sustainable at home, school, and in the community.
-
Caregivers meet with a specialist to learn how to support their child’s communication using personalized strategies, regular check-ins, and consultations. Please send videos of your child to the specialist before sessions. The specialist will review them and give clear recommendations and techniques for you to use.
How We Do
Who We Are
I’m Bintu—a board-certified speech-language pathologist specializing in autism, communication, and neurodiversity-affirming care.
I work closely with families, educators, and care teams to create environments where children feel safe, understood, and capable. My work is rooted in relationship-based, neurodiversity-affirming practices that honor each child’s sensory needs, communication style, and individuality.
At the heart of my work is collaboration. I partner with families and educators to build skills that carry over into real life—home, school, and community—because progress shouldn’t live only inside a therapy session.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me in my garden, being chased by my 9-year-old or my mini Goldendoodle. I’m also an avid The Sims player!
